Codonics Inc. has ordered eight additional WasteLog® systems from Pharmacolog for immediate delivery. The systems will be delivered with software that enables scanning of Codonics Safe Label System (SLS) barcodes.
In December 2020, Codonics Inc, Middleburg Heights, Ohio, US and Pharmacolog entered into a long-term partnership agreement for the US market. In January, Codonics ordered the first eight systems, out of which five have been delivered. The remaining three WasteLog® systems will be delivered together with five units from the new order. All systems will be installed at several different customers in the US who have ordered WasteLog® systems from Codonics. The total order value amounts to approximately SEK 1.7 million.
Codonics Safe Label System (SLS) registers all drugs used, especially in surgery and intensive care, and creates unique labels to improve safety and accuracy of medication management. By reading these labels, the current drug and concentration are automatically registered in the WasteLog® system.
