Braun in Spain orders two complete DrugLog™ systems for installation at two of Spain’s leading cancer hospitals, Hospital General Universitario Los Arcos in Murcia and Hospital Provincial de Castellón. B. Braun Spain is a partner of Pharmacolog and acts as the company’s distributor in Spain. DrugLog™ is used for verification of finished chemo admixtures after pharmacy preparation and form part of the B. Braun Chemotherapy Ecosystem. B. Braun’s solutions consists of a number of digital solutions aimed to ensure a safe and traceable chemotherapy during its preparation and administration. With OncoSafety Remote Control®, chemo administration is managed, controlled, and documented digitally. This reduces the risks to cancer patients and helps oncology nurses avoid errors made in the preparation and administration of chemotherapy.
