Pharmacolog expands focus and assigns new CEO

The successful introduction of Pharmacolog’s DrugLog® technology on the market for safe and efficient medication during 2016 and 2017 has lead to the Boards decision to expand Pharmacolog’s mission and goals and at the same time assign Mats Högberg as new CEO.

Freiburg sign DrugLog agreement

Freiburg University Hospital have signed an agreement to evaluate the DrugLog system for their compounding process for intravenous drugs. “In a very short time this is the second agreement in one of Europe´s most important markets, Germany. DrugLog prohibit medical error

Lille University Hospital have during 2016 used DrugLog and can from this experience summarise that DrugLog have prohibit a total of around 10 medical errors, whereof 2 could have caused serious consequences for the patient. Lille University have now decided to expand their clinical testing with additional medical drugs.

Positive result from Vinnova project

Pharmacolog have in collaboration with Karolinska University Hospital completed the ARM-project with positive result. ARM, Advanced Reconstitution Module, is a software that integrate the DrugLog system with the ePed database and contains compounding instructions for the pharmacists and nurses. Pharmacolog now aim to develop a new product based on this result during 2017 which will be made available for all Swedish paediatric hospitals connected to ePed.
